your area of responsibility
Your role at waterdrop®:
As an Accountant (m/f/d), you will be based at our vibrant headquarters in Vienna, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
Oversee, approve, and record all incoming invoices with precision
Manage the correct posting and reconciliation of outgoing invoices, including dunning and open items management
Handle ongoing bank postings and review cash receipts
Support the preparation of monthly reportings
Assist with Austrian and international tax and VAT matters
Drive process improvements, automation, and digitization within the finance team
your profile
Your strengths and qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, either at a tax consultancy firm or within a commercial company
Educational background in finance, accounting, or business administration:
A completed commercial education (ideally HAK) and a certified accountant qualification, OR
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance
Strong BMD NTCS skills (financial accounting) and a solid understanding of Excel
Fluent English skills (spoken & written), German is a plus
A precise and reliable work ethic with a keen eye for detail
A team player with a hands-on attitude, eager to grow in a fast-paced environment

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
