your area of responsibility

Your role at waterdrop®:


  • As an Accountant (m/f/d), you will be based at our vibrant headquarters in Vienna, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

  • Oversee, approve, and record all incoming invoices with precision

  • Manage the correct posting and reconciliation of outgoing invoices, including dunning and open items management

  • Handle ongoing bank postings and review cash receipts

  • Support the preparation of monthly reportings

  • Assist with Austrian and international tax and VAT matters

  • Drive process improvements, automation, and digitization within the finance team

your profile

Your strengths and qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, either at a tax consultancy firm or within a commercial company

  • Educational background in finance, accounting, or business administration:

  • A completed commercial education (ideally HAK) and a certified accountant qualification, OR

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance

  • Strong BMD NTCS skills (financial accounting) and a solid understanding of Excel

  • Fluent English skills (spoken & written), German is a plus

  • A precise and reliable work ethic with a keen eye for detail

  • A team player with a hands-on attitude, eager to grow in a fast-paced environment

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
