Business experience in consulting and sales and/or relationship management roles
Business experience in and knowledge of the payments industry is desirable
Proven depth of experience in winning new business in B2B or financial services environment and driving client growth. Ability to develop, lead, close and grow competitive sales efforts
Strongly developed strategic thinking and ability to develop not obvious business models
Well-developed project management as well as strong analytical skills, with the ability to grasp different financial aspects of cooperation between Visa and its clients
Ability to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally
Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, and well established strong narrative creation accompanied with great presentation skills
Ability to influence people, plan, prioritize and track execution across cross-functional teams and with clients
Experience in and knowledge of financial/banking services would be an advantage, especially if related to payments / cards
Degree level education is desirable, or hold equivalent professional experience

your area of responsibility
The person in the role of Senior Commercial Manager will take responsibility to design and execute commercial deals strategies with selected existing and new clients in the Central Eastern Europe cluster (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria and Slovenia). In doing so Senior Commercial Manager will be helping our clients grow their business with Visa, as well as supporting wining new key clients, ensuring core Visa business and strategic objectives are fully supported and priority deals are executed effectively.
Key responsibilities:
Define, quantify and prioritize new deals or new engagement opportunities with clients in the CEE cluster
Work with Account Executives, Country Managers, Head of Functions and clients to understand needs, strategic objectives, and its impact on the structure of engagement
Develop commercial frameworks for particular commercial engagements focusing on business growths, issuer level and/or portfolio level
Source and adapt best practices from other European clusters
Define strategies, financial models and client narratives for new commercial engagements
Work together with Commercial Lead to define structured approach towards commercial opportunities delivery, identify best practices and implement relevant deal components into commercial frameworks, improve and standardize deals where relevant
Take ownership of the E2E deals delivery process, plan and project manage on time delivery of all milestones, quality internal documentation and necessary approvals
Be an active member of in-cluster virtual teams being responsible for selected stages of the process
Support Account Executives and Country Managers in discussions with clients and support the sales process where necessary
Provide insightful analysis and manage systematical reporting on CEE deals’ statuses and performance against selected KPIs
