your area of responsibility
Design, build and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure on AWS
Manage our Kubernetes clusters
Create automated, IaC solutions
Cooperate with the security team on hardening our infrastructure security
Actively communicate with the Engineering teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for their services
your profile
Experience with production workloads running in the cloud, ideally in AWS - You should be familiar with the most common cloud services, pricing and limitations.
Proven track record running containerised applications, ideally on Kubernetes.
Experience with automation and configuration management using Terraform or similar alternatives.
A solid understanding of networking, including DNS, certificate management, load balancing, and firewalls.
Excited to learn new things and driven to continuously improve and develop yourself.
Strong drive to dig deep into problems and the ability to explore various approaches.
Experience with or open to working in a remote team.
Able to win a heated debate on Macintosh vs Linux conducted entirely in English.
