your area of responsibility

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement and contracts (acquisition) strategy.

  • Train and mentor the team, focusing on skill development and knowledge transfer.

  • Provide policy guidance on procurement and contract management processes.

  • Advise on negotiation strategies, contract terms, and modifications.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement objectives.

  • Monitor and evaluate procurement performance to identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations and policies.

  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and strategies.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

  • Perform other related responsibilities as necessary.

your profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, contracts management, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of procurement policies and contract negotiation.

  • Knowledge of federal procurement regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
