your area of responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of contract administration for the SRUDP.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) team.

  • Ensure project delivery meets requirements and expectations throughout the lifecycle.

  • Oversee the invoicing process and certify contractors’ payment certificates promptly.

  • Manage project schedules to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of activities.

  • Administer contracts per the FIDIC Red Book, ensuring compliance with all obligations.

  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

  • Provide training and mentorship to local staff in project management and contract administration.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support project goals.

your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in contract management for water supply and civil infrastructure projects.

  • Willingness to commit to onsite assignments for at least 9 months each year.

  • Experience in small island developing states is essential; prior work in a Pacific context is highly desirable.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Must be willing to relocate and work in Nauru.
