your area of responsibility
Perform daily inspections of construction worksites to ensure compliance with project standards and safety regulations.
Maintain detailed daily logs of inspections and observations, uploading all relevant data to the quality management system.
Monitor and report on quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines at each worksite.
Support the establishment of a water supply network, sanitation facilities, and waste recycling centers, contributing to a resilient and circular economy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical input on assessments, improvements, and maintenance schemes for water and sanitation systems across Nauru.
Ensure all construction work complies with local codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
Conduct site safety audits and ensure safety protocols are being followed by all workers.
Assist in the preparation of reports on worksite performance and progress for project managers and stakeholders.
Perform other duties as required to support the project and ensure successful completion
your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or a related field preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of general work experience, with at least 3 years in construction or engineering.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and construction site protocols.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Experience in infrastructure projects involving water supply and sanitation systems is an advantage.
