your area of responsibility
Conduct independent reviews of the performance and products of contracts.
Review, evaluate, and track non-PMGO contractor-generated contract progress reports and schedules.
Identify issues related to insufficient or missing data in non-PMO contractor submittals.
Provide technical review and risk assessment of projects, ensuring completion of all project close-out documents (e.g., DD1354s, As-Built drawings).
Prepare construction project documents that comply with DOD, Air Force, and Host Nation standards.
Manage and oversee construction projects following FSRM and MILCON regulations.
Maintain effective client relationships through professional communication.
Ensure project staffing, schedule, and budget are adhered to.
Present project updates through verbal and graphic presentations.
Perform other responsibilities as necessary.
your profile
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in architecture or building engineering, with at least 5 years in project and client management.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license required.
Significant experience in the modernization/replacement of aircraft hangars and maintenance facilities is highly preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Federal DoD experience is preferred.
Experience with design/build alternative project delivery methods.
Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (Revit), Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Ability to reside in or relocate to Misawa, Japan, for at least one year.
