Experience of Plant and Machinery Procurement and Capital Expenditure Purchases at an International level
Educated to degree or equivalent level
Circa 4+ years’ experience in a Technical Procurement environment working on MRO, CAPEX projects, experience with equipment, favourable in Pulp & Paper or Chemical industry
Team player, business orientation and assertive personality, strong negotiation skills are essential
Working proficient in English, Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
Flexibility in terms of working location and willingness to go on assignment if needed (several months up to 2-3 years)

your area of responsibility
Be the expert in the project team for the Plant and Machinery Procurement and Capital Expenditure Purchases in one of our defined strategic investment projects
Liaise with Engineering and Project teams and develop the procurement strategy for each project.
Be in the leading role in commercial negotiations; evaluate together with the technical team Tender responses in terms of Safety, Health & Environment, Quality and Value for Money. Negotiate contract terms and conditions considering the required project milestones and ensure compliance with relevant International Laws and Trading practices
Assist in the identification of new suppliers and ensure due diligence is carried out for all new sources of supply; evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
Evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes. This includes also the responsibility about Claim management
Perform expediting activities together with relevant project team members and visits to ensure adherence to schedule and milestone activities.

We offer a minimum compensation package starting at € 60,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
