your area of responsibility

As our Director of Product Design, you'll manage a team of experienced Designers and UX Researchers. User-centric design is a core part of our product strategy and you'll have an impact that extends beyond your own team and function. Alongside your peers from Product Management, Engineering and Marketing, you'll set the stage to evolve our product offering while ensuring excellent processes within your team.

your profile

  • Real Life Experience. You have 5+ years' of experience working as a Product Designer, as well as 2+ years' in managing teams, ideally in a B2B SaaS/Productivity domain.

  • Product Design Champion. You have a track record of shipping web and mobile products from ideation to iterative release. As a lead, you guide your direct reports in contributing best-of-class design components and UX patterns to the global design system and commit to upholding the highest standards and a shared vision.

  • Design Operations Specialist. You're passionate about increasing team efficiency by streamlining processes and improving workflows and tools, all within remote and asynchronous work environments. You have experience in setting up, implementing and evolving Design Systems.

  • Strategy driver. You have experience formulating and executing a comprehensive design and UX strategy that aligns with the product strategy and company's long-term objectives. You know how to drive product innovation and how to turn user experience into revenue growth.

  • User-Centered Approach. You can translate customer insights, feedback, and market research into valuable design insights. Your ability to dive deep into the Productivity SaaS market gives you a deep understanding of our target audiences and how to build a strategy that resonates with them.

  • Analytic Mindset. You're proficient on product and design KPIs and use them to inform your discovery, ideation and implementation phases, ensuring to enhance product quality every step of the way.

  • Research Expertise. You’re well-versed in generative and evaluative user research to identify user problems and deriving insights. Knowledge on cross-company research operations is a bonus.

  • Management Credentials. You know how to mentor and guide a team of senior designers and researchers by creating an environment of open feedback and nurturing their performance and career progression.

  • Stakeholder Management. You're confident in managing demands and goals from different departments and in steering impactful decisions that reach beyond your own domain.

  • Communication Skills. Your effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers, convey complex matters clearly and concisely. Speaking German is a plus!
