8+ years experience in Business Development, Consultancy, and fast-growing environment, Community Management, CSM, B2B Sales, or other business functions focused on growing and developing a customer base.
At least 4 years of experience in the tech industry, online marketplaces, or the temporary staffing sector.
Strong project management and people management skills.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to convince/sell/persuade. This is not a typical “sales management” role, but to succeed you need to be good at bringing people onboard, pitching Malt, and establishing successful relationships with a wide variety of people.
Ability to stay serene in a fast-changing environment, to deal with uncertainty, and to enjoy meeting a challenge and getting out of your comfort zone.
Spanish native speaker and fluent in English.
Ability to travel regularly within Spain and quarterly to France.

your area of responsibility
Manage the spanish community and sourcing team: set priorities, ensure execution of plan, recruit and manage community and sourcing managers
Champion the needs and requirements of the Spanish freelancers to the global product, marketing and operations teams.
Implement efficient processes and standards
You and your team will be responsible for the following tasks:
Grow the community of freelancers in Spain.
Identify the most sought-after skills, and develop creative approaches to efficiently recruit top talents.
Actively promote Malt’s community with local partners (alumni networks coworking spaces, tech communities, meetups and influencers) and co-build content and events to raise awareness of the freelancing opportunities at Malt.
Leverage existing methods, advocacy programs (Malt Linker, Malt Academy, Referral Program), and content produced with our communication/marketing team (Malt Tech Trends, Freelancer Study) to attract and retain new freelance community members
Conduct complex sales meetings
Be the voice of customers and freelancers to improve Malt's product and services
Train on the different freelance professions and client needs to prioritize sourcing and train all sales people on best practices,
Coordinate and Manage hostings of online and offline community events, empowering ambassadors to create content, organize events, and advocate on Malt’s behalf.
Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
Ensuring that the team meet and onboard new freelancers, give them an amazing experience and the best tools and advices to connect to Malt clients
