your area of responsibility
Researching travel information, vendors, special wish activities
Identifying vendors for local wish experiences and requesting discounts/donations
Putting together and mailing goody bags, packets, and materials for wish families
Pulling wish itineraries and populating with wish logistic details
Assisting with data entry and pulling wish related reports
Assisting with wish paperwork
Assisting with special projects for unique wish types
Other duties as needed.
your profile
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
Desire to contribute to the mission of Make-A-Wish
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework in Social Work, Events Management, Non-Profit Management, Medicine, and/or Nursing
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to commute to our downtown Chicago office (we are located in the River North neighborhood)
Minimum age for all internships is 18
Selected candidates will be asked to participate in a criminal background check.
