Volunteer outreach
Assigning volunteers to wishes
Maintaining volunteer contacts in Salesforce
Supporting the design and coordination of volunteer engagement activities
Updating wish granting reference documents
Drafting volunteer-specific content for monthly newsletters
Additional duties as assigned.
your profile
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
Desire to contribute to the mission of Make-A-Wish
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework in Social Work, Events Management, Non-Profit Management, Medicine, and/or Nursing
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to commute to our downtown Chicago office (we are located in the River North neighborhood)
Minimum age for all internships is 18
Selected candidates will be asked to participate in a criminal background check.
