your area of responsibility
Implement solutions to solve ambiguous and unstructured AI quality, evaluation and data annotation problems using a variety of methods, including Generative AI prompting, human, hybrid approaches.
Design and develop comprehensive and automated evaluation methods to measure AI models and products’ performance to ensure high-quality performance for LinkedIn members
Implement end-to-end workflows to build scalable data annotation pipelines to deliver high-quality datasets using a variety of methods, including generative AI prompting, human, hybrid approaches to enable accurate and reliable AI modeling
Create and curate qualitative concepts that are used across various LinkedIn's solutions to describe, standardize and accurately measure and understand Linkedin content using human, automated, and hybrid methods.
Develop human judgment pipelines to label high-quality data at scale and conduct data-driven analysis to inform next development cycles
Participate in AI quality, evaluation and data annotation initiatives with engineering and product partner teams to design and build innovative AI solutions in alignment with LinkedIn's strategy.
Work in close collaboration with a talented and highly collaborative team of AI engineers and AI linguists to tackle large-scale content understanding and recommendation problems.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation to build maintainable artifacts, inform product decisions, and support partners.
Participate in conducting comprehensive reviews of team designs and solutions, analyzing results and implementation details across multiple initiatives
Communicate effectively with internal teams and product partners.
your profile
Basic Qualifications:
B.S./B.A Degree in Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, Linguistics, Speech Science or a related field.
1+ year relevant industry experience.
Experience with any of the following in the context of consumer-facing product development:
Experience with large-scale collection of human judgments (e.g. crowdsourcing working with vendors and managed service providers), or prompt engineering for automated evaluation / data annotation.
Experience with developing annotated corpora to train and evaluate machine learning models.
Experience with leading small projects
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Experience programming in Python or any other scripting language
Preferred Qualifications:
MS or Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, Linguistics, Speech Science or a related field.
Experience delivering evaluation solutions for AI-driven user-facing products.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage priorities.
Substantial experience in at least one programming language is a plus.
