your area of responsibility
We are looking for two Security Accreditation Officers who will actively contribute to the accreditation activities of the department relevant to the Union Secure Connectivity Programme and its interface with the GOVSATCOM component of the EU space programme, in line with the applicable legislation.
They will be entrusted to set the basis for the security accreditation of the Union Secure Connectivity Programme and its interface with GOVSATCOM, and to coordinate its implementation, following SAB instructions. They will contribute to the maintenance of the relevant Security Accreditation Strategy (SAS) and to the implementation of the accreditation activities stemming from the SAS, working in close cooperation with the cyber experts of the department.
They will be requested to elaborate critical synthetic views of the Union Secure Connectivity security risks from Programme inputs and independent security checks.

your profile
Professional experience and expertise
1. Experience in one or several of the following fields in relation to complex systems:
satellite communication systems
security assurance/security accreditation methodology and analysis
security risk assessments
security design and/or security deployment
2. Experience in the definition and performance of security audit in ICT/telecommunication systems;
3. Experience in financial, procurement and contract management;
4. Experience in the security design and/or security deployment of complex systems or governmental systems, preferably pertinent to space programmes at national or EU level, is considered an asset;
5. Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
