  • 5+ years of work experience in the field of technical procurement from the automotive or comparable industry

  • good understanding of new product development process and knowledge of technical documentation

  • familiar with ISO9001 and IATF16949 requirements

  • excellent communication skills through all types of media

  • fluency in English (level B2 / C1)

  • customer-oriented and result-driven attitude

  • ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • demonstrate high-quality work standards

  • natural or developed negotiation skills

your area of responsibility

  • integrate suppliers in New Product Development projects from early prototype sourcing to the final setup of continuous supply of the components for manufacturing

  • represent the Material Groups towards projects and solutions

  • initiate and manage RFQ process, negotiate and provide a clear commercial bid evaluation and a recommendation for purchase in line with economical, technical and logistics requirements

  • manage supplier's portfolio and support Material Group Management for designated key material groups (spend analysis, supply market analysis, suppliers evaluation, and categorization…)

  • establish long term contractual partnerships with suppliers for key material groups

  • communicate with suppliers and monitor the status of purchase orders

  • ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • align with Supplier Quality Management in suppliers evaluation and qualification
