You are a multi-faceted thinker and doer that can confidently apply your UX toolkit to everything from sitemaps, IA diagrams, detailed user flows, annotated wireframes, and prototypes. You have experience across a range of projects from web, mobile, naitve apps, product design, services, interfaces, voice, and/or AR/VR. You have a practical understanding of capabilities and limitations of digital technologies and are adept at knowing how and when to leverage existing and emerging technologies. Your work is grounded in a strong foundation of industry standards and best practices, but you are confident and able to break the mold, take risks and push past the obvious. Your work resonates with stakeholders and delights customers because you like to explore widely and iterate, getting equally excited about the conceptual work as you do refining a micro-interaction. You believe in the interconnectedness of brand and digital experiences. You are curious and like to uncover insights, using them as inputs in the creation of high-level frameworks, detailed UX recommendations, and ultimately, robust, component-based systems. You delight in finding solutions that artfully balance user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and brand. You can articulate why a creative decision makes strategic sense for a brand’s business objectives and target audience. You possess quick, clear thinking, with the ingenuity and drive to solve problems on the spot.
Desired Skills & Experience
At least 5 years of experience in UX design, ideally across multiple channels, including web, mobile and native applications. Experiential, physical, voice, or AR/VR are nice to have, but not required.
A background in UX design, HCI, interaction design, product design, information architecture, mobile applications. and/or web design
Practical understanding of capabilities and limitations of digital technologies and how to design for platforms and with design systems
Experience collaborating with designers, writers and developers to build systems that enable a best-in-class user experience
Strong conceptual thinking and ability to come up with innovative, smart concepts, grounded in research and insights – and then execute those concepts to completion
Experience designing modular, scalable systems that creatively apply consistent interface patterns across a variety of use cases and device types
Experience designing and facilitating user testing – both quantitative and qualitative
Proficiency with Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, Principle and can adapt to new tools as they become available
Knowledge of design systems, agile methodologies, and Service Design
Ability to take the lead and work autonomously as well as in close collaboration with the team
Experience interacting directly with clients and the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction and present designs and concepts with thoughtful rationale and storytelling

your area of responsibility
Lead UX design on 2-3 client projects within multidisciplinary project teams
Work across every stage of the digital experience and product lifecycle to ensure that the concepts, design, and development decisions are sensitive to the needs of users, our clients’ businesses, and the brand experience.
Lead and execute digital experience definition, including UX strategy, IA, interaction models, content strategy, wireframes, prototypes, and validation
Partner with design, writing, and development to establish UI specs, page and/or screen-specific copy and creative assets and help develop the systems that will enable a best-in-class user experience.
Define and execute user testing to evaluate concepts or designs
Design and facilitate workshops with clients and internal teams
Contribute to (and on occasion lead) discovery, user research, and experience strategy development
Develop development ready documentation to hand-off to internal or external development teams
Collaborate with development team to ensure flawless implementation of designs through final delivery
Build relationships with client partners
In collaboration with project teams, balance the design, technical, and business implications associated with UX recommendations
Present work and recommendations to internal and external teams
Partner with the Performance Team to incorporate qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decision making
Advocate for keeping user experience and user-centered design best practices and methodologies at the center of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful digital experiences and products
