You bring a minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a data engineer to the table
You have hands-on experience in explorative analysis and reporting
You have experience creating production-grade ELT pipelines in Python and
You also boast hands-on experience with data orchestrators e.g airflow, fivetran, dbt
You are a self- starter with superb attention to details and organizational skills

your area of responsibility
You own, maintain and develop our data warehouse (currently Postgres)
You drive the migration to a cloud DB solution, and own all of our data pipelines (via Fivetran / Google Cloud Functions / Python)
You own the data model in our DWH & BI tool, support the BI team to maintain a catalogue of metrics and develop our data model to reflect ongoing changes
You help the BI team drive business decisions by applying your knowledge in descriptive and prescriptive analytics to real world ecommerce problems
You manage and operate a code repository - GCP, Markdown, Github
