You have 3+ years of experience developing software, ideally in a telecommunications environment.
You have good knowledge in Python (or C#, Java, PHP, Perl) and also
about modern Web- and API frameworks (e.g., FastAPI).
You already have experience with databases and SQL (ideally PostgreSQL and stored procedures) and with source control systems (git), agile development methods and modern development processes (CI, CD).
You also have good knowledge about web-services and related technologies (REST, SOAP/WSDL, GraphQL).
You enjoy working with other people and are convinced that together you can accomplish anything.
You like to think out-of-the-box and you bring a hands-on mentality with you.
What makes you unique:
You already gained valuable knowledge about HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript and Javascript frameworks (ideally Angular) and are interested in learning Elixir.

your area of responsibility
Our team is responsible for developing and extending our MVNO and IT/BSS platform including, among other things, a CRM, prepaid/postpaid charging and billing platform, provisioning and campaigning system as well as interfaces to various other systems inside and outside of A1 (e.g., accounting, core network provisioning, payment providers).
Our platform is written using mostly Python, PostgreSQL for our main databases, Angular for web frontends and Elixir in some core-facing parts and utilizes open-source components wherever possible. The team is English-speaking and working in a mixed on-site / remote environment. Home office is encouraged, but regular on-site days will be required (depending on the current COVID-19 situation; mobile working / home office contract applies).
What you do:
You will design and develop new features in close cooperation with marketing and other project partners.
You are in active communication with internal and external partners (marketing, other teams in A1, partner companies).
You are part of the whole software lifecycle, starting with design and developing up to testing, deploying and providing third level support.

The KV salary is 48.323,80 EUR gross per year. We offer an attractive salary for this position, which is clearly above the KV salary.
